Fritz Sick Pool Accessibility Upgrades

This cherished local pool has long been a hub for recreation and connection—but its original construction posed significant barriers for patrons with mobility challenges. Outdated infrastructure and a limited renovation budget made modern upgrades particularly complex, with structural rigidity leaving little room for added services or layout changes.
Despite the challenges, the revitalization has transformed the pool’s administrative and change areas into welcoming, accessible, and hygienic spaces. The upgraded facilities now include additional showers and toilets, all featuring slip-resistant surfaces and anti-bacterial finishes to ensure safety and durability for all users. The redesign also introduced brighter finishes and a more vibrant atmosphere, breathing new life into a beloved community space.
