Fads exist in architectural and interior design just as they do in fashion. Though it’s fun to wear the latest leggings now, when they go out of style, it’s relatively simple to move on to the next fashion trend. Buildings and interior spaces are a bit more permanent in nature so it makes the desire to jump to the next fashion that much more challenging.
The easiest and least costly updates to a building are the furnishings and paint color. Moving walls and changing exterior materials can get quite expensive. So be sure your layout truly supports your needs before you build as you’ll want to enjoy your surroundings for a long time.
